The idea for this project came to me in a dream. I imagined what I call puzzle poems that would be foldable in multiple directions and layers, making it possible for the reader to reconfigure the word and image combinations. This series of painted poems maximize the opportunity to discover unintentional synchronicities among the presented words and images. I also like the tactile aspect, allowing the reader to hold the objects and feel them, thus intensifying the personal and private dimension of the viewing and reading experience. The reader is enabled to intimately and subjectively interact with the puzzle poems progressively becoming more and more immersed in the creative process as they are handled, read and reread.
